Pitbull dogs can be quite unpredictable in their nature and this is another concern with people because strangers cannot be sure if or when the dog might attack them.
There have been many recorded cases where pitbull dogs have attacked members of a household for no particular reason at all and this has even involved members of the family where the pitbull dogs were part of that family.
In some countries the ownership of pitbull dogs is not allowed due to safety fears.
